Panto 2025

‘Oh yes we did!’

‘Pantomime was first class, excellent. 11/10!’

Last week we went to the Kings Theatre in Glasgow to watch The Little Mermaid, and what a show it was! With Elaine C Smith and Johnny Mac, this was bound to give us all a good laugh.

We set off on our Allander Coach that we had booked and collected everyone from various pick up points around East Dunbartonshire. The driver was so friendly and kept us all laughing all the way to the Kings Theatre, setting our spirits high.

We arrived at the front door and met with Jason who was so helpful and helped us wade our way through the crowd to get our seats for the show. The staff at the Kings Theatre were wonderful for helping us with easy accessible seating and this made a big difference as we went to take our seats with ease.

The show had us all in stitches and included us getting up to dance and sing at different points. We even got a few shout outs at the end for the Befriending Service and some December birthdays!

‘It was magic! The whole production, I've never laughed so much.’

Once we left the theatre it was already getting dark. All of us feeling like we had done a workout with how much we laughed, we were ready to get home, taking the memories with us forever.

We’d like to say a few thank you’s to those in our community who have supported us for this trip and enabled us to have a special event. Without you, this wouldn’t have been possible and we are forever grateful.

A special thank you to Allander coaches and your very friendly driver!

And last but not least, a BIG thank you to the National Lottery. Without your Awards For All Funding, this trip would not have been possible.
