Summer Bus Trip 2025
On 7th June we headed to Balloch to the sunny shores of Loch Lomond for our annual summer bus trip. We had goodie bags for the coach trip and enjoyed taking in the scenery on the way there.
Once we arrived we settled into the church hall that we had booked for the day, and weren’t we glad of it when the rain started! Feeling nice and dry inside we sat down to tea and biscuits and fruit prepared by our wonderful volunteers. This was a great chance to sit down and get to know others on the trip, sharing laughs and stories was wonderful.
We were then presented with our pre-order of fish and chips, the chippy were very accommodating and delivered it to us so we wouldn’t have to get soaked. It was delicious and we had no complaints.
The coach company were kind enough to drive us over to the Lomond Shores Shopping Mall for anyone who wanted to do some shopping. Luckily enough, the the rain stopped and we managed a good few photos by the loch with a fantastic view that we will remember for a long time.
After a few hours (and a few items bought) we returned to the bus to take us back to the church hall. With everyone thoroughly tired from a great day, we set off home.
